Blooming. This is the first time that I have bought a pot of Easter lilies for Easter. And what a treat it has been with five blooms opening and scenting the room. Maryland. April 2016.

Butterflies like these swallowtails are not seen much in my garden anymore. This shot was taken in 2012 when they more regularly frequented my flowers. I love the flutter of wings as one comes in for a landing. The other is drinking away.  Summer 2012. Maryland.
